Tip #6
Tip number six out of seven for selling your home faster and for more money in Central MN, is making sure that you Provide Detailed Disclosures.
Why Detailed Disclosures
Transparency is provided through disclosures that the seller fills out. This process is a great way to be up front with buyers. The Detailed Disclosures tells the buyers everything that’s happened with the home while the Seller has owned it. Disclosing events like previous water damage that’s been repaired, or hail on a roof that’s been repaired, or an HVAC system that’s been replaced and even something like new appliances.
These disclosures should be uploaded into the MLS (Multiple Listing System) but the Sellers Agent. This makes the Detailed Disclosures available to all buyers agents. When selling your home those buyers agents should be able to provide those to the buyers to review prior to them even looking at your property. The disclosures allow your buyer to understand what the big picture is about you selling your home before they look at the property let alone make an offer.
